At-Home Pedicure

26 Jun

Heyy everybody !!

As we all know, it’s summer and this is the best time for all of us ladies to ditch those winter boots and bring out our best summer sandals, wedges and flip flops .. So I have decided I would post an easy at home do-it-yourself pedicure.

So, girls .. get ready to flaunt those beautiful toes !

  • All you need :

– Nail polish remover, cotton pads
– Bucket
– Warm water
– Shampoo
– Lemon / Lime juice
– Salt
– Nail brush
– Pumice stone
– Nail file
– Towel
– Foot cream
– Cuticle oil
  • Let’s get started :

1> First start off with cleaning any nail polish leftover on the toe nails with the help of Nail polish remover and Cotton pads.
2> Take warm to hot water (warm enough to touch) in a bucket and add little shampoo, few drops of melon / lime juice and salt. Mix everything well and foam it up. Place your feet in the bucket and soak in for about 15 minutes.
3> After a relaxing soak, on damp feet, use the Nail brush to clean off any dirt or build-up over the nails. Now use the Pumice stone to gently exfoliate the feet to reveal the smoothness !
4> Now, cut / trim the nails and use a Nail file to clean up the nails. Wash the feet well and pat dry with a towel. ( It’s at this time that you may want to apply a Nail polish ).
5> Now, apply a rich foot cream ( I use the body shop peppermint foot cream, which I love! ) and massage well and let the goodness soak in 🙂 .. Also, you can apply Cuticle oil to the nails and leave it on.
That’s it ladies, have fun doing this simple pedicure at your home and let me know what you think !
Have fun and show off those healthy, soft and happy feet ! 🙂

Until next time,
